I can't say enough about how much I loved this book. This might be my favorite book in the series. Corrie and Griff are amazing together. I love them so much. I didn't want this book to end and now I'm sad it did. I love that when Corrie and Griff finally got together he never looked back. Where to start with this book? Okay, so we met Corrie in the last Troy book, and then a brief introduction to Griff, and I knew the second I read their interaction that there was more and that I needed to read it.
Corrie has been through so much in his life, from the guilt and hurt he feels regarding his childhood and his brother Raff still haunts him. He’s almost afraid to let himself open his heart to someone incase they get ripped away from him.
Griff was at the top of his career, things couldn’t get any better for him, until he’s accused of a crime he didn’t commit, causing him to lose everything. The one thing he did get from it in his life, was Corrie. Their one night together left a lasting mark on both of these men.
Their path isn’t smooth, but if it was, we wouldn’t have any kind of an interesting story. There were times when I wanted to throttle the pair of them and shake them until they saw sense, but this all added to the enjoyment of watching their story unfold and their feelings for the other develop.
The men in this book are human which means they are infallible and feel very, very real, and I fell in love with them. It was great to see the older characters I already loved popping up in their story too, Troy, Raff, Nico and Ryan.
It feels like we won’t get more from Griff and Corrie which I am sad about, but I’m sure they will make appearances in other books with characters who we’ve only just glimpsed in this book.
If you want a book that is hot, but with a captivating cast of characters Narrow Margins certainly gives you that. Yes, it’s GFY, and I know that’s not for everyone, but, there is nothing at all wrong with this genre, or the fact that some people don’t know what they want until they try it. I mean, think about Ice Cream, did you know you loved it before you tried it, did you? Anyway, that’s not important here, what is important is the story and connection that these two people, and it’s real, it works and more importantly (to me) it’s believable.
I really am looking forward to seeing who gets to step into the spotlight next and steal my heart away.
Another amazing and much anticipated book from J J Harper.
We have Corrie & Griff this time to steal our hearts and boy did they do just that.
Griff, a well known playboy meets Corrie an injured army Veteran and sparks fly immediately...they burn through the pages quite literally- both Alpha in their own way but Griff is in unchartered waters and this makes him vulnerable and uncertain.
Here begins a well developed and often complex story of what happens when you meet your one...when your one is not what you were conditioned to believe...when your one is standing in front of you, do you see it?...when your one offers help...will you take it?
So no more hints into this story just take a chance on it, Meet Griff & Corrie and immerse yourself in a true love story, one that has lots of obstacles, lots of tears but also lots of happiness, joy and plenty of heat.
J J Harper is always a go to author for me, Great writing, great storytelling, great sex scenes, great Alpha men....need any more convincing?
I thought not -)
So buy this book because the boys are here and you need to see for yourself if they can make this love work and when the past comes calling can they overcome their individual fears and find the happiness they deserve.
Please note while this can be totally enjoyed as a stand alone you will find that if you read the Reunion & the Troy series it will only serve to increase your enjoyment and of course you will meet again a background character or two.

I loved the De'ath series, and have enjoyed Troy and the boys. I was really looking forward to Griff's and Corrie's story, especially having been introduced to them in Troy Out of the Dark (Troy Duology #2). It was all about Raff's war veteran brother and the moto racer who had the world in the palms of his hand until it all came crashing around him.
I think Troy truly spoiled me. I based this book toward the first two books featuring Troy, expecting explosive release and more, more, more. Narrow Margins was good, and I really liked it, but it was just exhausting at times. I understood Corrie and the whole disabiltity and not knowing if anyone would love him because he was not "whole". But he used that as an excuse one too many times and thankfully once Griff was on board, he never let him forget he was loved.
Then there was the who bisexuality spectrum. I can say get over it. It is a thing. Move on!!
It was good to catch up with the other guys and finally have a conclusion to Raff's and Corrie's issue with their father. This was a comeback story, for both Corrie and Griff after losing it all. It was shedding old skin and putting on new one and showing the sports world you can be "different" and still the best. With a surprised ending, I closed this book knowing that I will see these guys again, happily ever after.
The title says it all. Loved every word of it. Griff and Corrie are my new fave Dea'th of You couple.
